英雄たちが愛した歴史的スパイクVOL.33「芸能人・文化人が愛したプーマスパイク編」
モデル名に「Maradona」とありますが、ご本人は履いていませんでしたので、個人的にはそれほど思い入れがないモデルですが、80年代後半の西ドイツ製プーマモデルはナゾが多いです。
The model name says “Maradona”, but he didn’t wear them, so I personally don’t have much affection for this model, but the Puma model made in West Germany in the late 80s has a lot of riddles.
一応、これは日本でも販売していました。さすがに「Maradona」モデルとはせず、「GRAS CAT」の表示もなく、モデル番号だけです。
This was sold in Japan as well. As expected, it is not labeled as a “Maradona” model, no “GRAS CAT”, just the model number.
この年代では最高ランクの高額スパイクでした。
This model was the highest ranked and high priced boots for this age group.
ただ、履いている選手はあまりいませんでした。
However, there weren’t many players who wore them.

この選手以外を探しましたが、なかなかいない。
I looked for someone other than this player, but it was hard to find one.
やっと見つけたのはプーマをこよなく愛していた（？）こちらの選手。
I finally found one who loved the Puma (?) so much. This player.
ケニー・サンソム選手
Kenny Sansom.
現役時代からけっこう好きな選手でした。しばらくサムソン選手と間違って覚えていましたが…。
I was a fan of him quite a bit since he was active. I remembered him wrongly as a Samson for a while….
左足のキックがかっこいいなあと思っていました。
I thought it was a cool kick on his left foot.
代表でもクラブでも一貫してプーマのスパイクを履いていたと思います。
I think he wore Puma boots consistently for the national team and for the club.
歴史的場面でも
Even on historical occasions.
すかさず「ハンド」とアピールしておられます。この時のお三方は三者三様のプーマスパイクを履いています。神モデルはこちらで、サンソム選手はこちらだと思います。お二人とも別の試合では固定式も履いていました。
He was quickly appealing to referees as “hands”. The three of them at this time are wearing three different Puma boots. I think the God model is here and the Sansom’s is here. Both of them also wore the fixed model in another game.
シルトン選手のモデルはいまだにナゾで、ソールは神モデルと同じですが、アッパーはメキシコフィナーレに似ているようですが、もう少しシンプルです。
Shilton’s model was still a riddle, the sole was the same as the God model, but the upper seems to be similar to the Mexico Finale, but a bit simpler.
たぶん、サンソム選手も同じモデルを86年W杯時の練習ではお使いでした。
Perhaps Sansom used the same model in practice during the 1986 World Cup.
いやー、いままでお目にかかったことがなく、モデル名もわからないです。

ソールのカラーが珍しい。上のモデルとは違うようです。

The color of the sole was unusual. It looks different from the model above.

こんな市販モデルはあったようですが、かかとのデザインが違いますね。
It looked like there was a commercial model like this one, but the heel design is different.
その後のイングランドリーグ（まだプレミアリーグとは言わなかった時代）では同じモデルや、微妙に変わったプーマのモデルを履いている選手が多くいました。
Later in the England League (when it wasn’t yet called the Premier League), many players wore the same models or slightly different Puma models.
Nigel Clough選手。これは同じモデルのようです。

この他にもユニークなモデルが多々あったようです。画像を見ていると楽しい時代なのですが、日本ではまったく見たことがないモデルが多く、ナゾが深まるばかりです。
There seemed to be many other unique models in this era. It is a fun time to look at the images, but there are many models which have never been seen in Japan at all, and the riddle is only deepening.
手に入れるチャンスはこれまでまったくありませんでしたが、一度だけ著名ラグビー選手の実使用スパイクとしてオークションに出品されていたのを見たことがあります。
The chance to get hold of it has not existed at all so far, but I have seen that it was sold in the auction as a famous rugby player’s actual use boots only once.
気づいた時にはすでに終了していましたが、ぜひいつか手にしてみたいモデルです。
By the time I noticed it was already finished, but I would love to get my hands on this model one day.
