84年頃に発売された取替式のトップモデルです。
It is a top model of the changeable studs type, which was released around 1984.
固定式のトップモデルはこちらでしたが、リオの方が人気があったと思います。
The top model of moulded studs type was here, but I think the Rio was more popular.
これまでの定番アッパーから様々な改良がなされ、ソールも派手な赤黒で、その前のトップモデルのトレロとは一線を画す先進的なモデルにしたと思われます。
It had various improvements over the standard upper and a flashy red-black sole, making it an advanced model that seemed to be distinctly different from the previous top model, the Torero.
ただ、人気はあまりなかったと思います。
However, I don’t think it was very popular.
当時、学生だった私にはまったく縁のない高額モデルでしたが、なんか変だなと思った記憶があります。
I was a student at the time, and I remember thinking it was a very expensive model that I had no connection to, but I remember thinking something was wrong with it.
トレロの黒白、つまり神が履いているモデルを素直に出せばいいのに、なぜわざわざ細部をいじるのか疑問でした。上のリオの取替式でもよかったかもしれません。
I thought PUMA should have just released the Torero in black and white, the model that God was wearing, honestly.
84年EUROと86年W杯でトップレベルの選手が何人か使っていたようですが、定番モデルにはなりませんでした。
Some top-level players in the 1984 EURO and ’86 World Cup seemed to use this model, but it didn’t become the standard model.

当時でさえ実物を見た記憶がなく、残っているわけもないと思っていたらメルカリで発見し、手に入れました。
I don’t remember seeing the real thing, even back then, and I thought there was no way it was still there, but I found it on mercantile and got it.
内張がはがれていたので、修理してもらいました。
The interior lining was peeling off, so I had it repaired.
海外では「MARADONA」とモデル名が記されていたことがあるようです。
It seems that the model name was once marked “MARADONA” abroad.
神の手や5人抜きの時のイングランドGKシルトン選手の名前が入ったこのモデルのポスターもあったようです。
There were also posters of this model with the name of England goalkeeper Shilton players at the time of the Hand of God and the goal of the century.
おそらく、神もシルトン選手もこのモデルは使用されなかったと思いますが、なにか因縁めいたものを感じるスパイクです。
Probably neither God nor Shilton used this model, but it’s a model that feels like something of a fate.
